Aerogrammes, the most recent book by Tania James ’99, is a collection of short stories that reads like a series of dispatches from far-off lands: one story follows a pair of Indian wrestlers in turn-of-the-century London; another concerns a girl who enters an arranged marriage with a ghost.
Tania visited Louisville in May of 2012 to read from Aerogrammes at Carmichael’s Bookstore. Her debut novel, Atlas of Unknowns, was published in 2009. Recently, her essays have appeared in The New York Times and Salon.com.
